I will be teaching at the Rabbitstick Skills Gathering in Rexburg Idaho alongside many fantastic instructors September 9th – 15th, 2018.

This is an exciting opportunity to camp with other traditional skills enthusiasts, learn craft and skill from experienced and passionate instructors, and become part of a wonderful community. I’d love to see you there!

Pack your shelter (for some this means a tent of some kind or a camper, others prefer more improvised accommodations). camping gear, bedding, tools (at the very least: a knife and sharpener!), water container for collecting potable water, and toiletries and come join us in Idaho!

With 30+ classes planned for the duration of the event, there are ample opportunities to learn multiple skills and crafts, and gain traditional knowledge. Classes may include (but are not limited to) primitive pottery, felting. useful plants, bows and arrows, flintknapping, traps and snares, basketry, altatls and darts, drumming, fire by friction, knife making and sharpening, finger weaving, shelter building, shoe and sandal making, wholistic medicine, backstrap weaving, cordage and fibers, and more.
